Some good news.
27 September 2004, is the date for a new member of our clinic.Rudina our faithful worker of the Hapu clinic, had a healthy, beautiful boy, named Daniel. He was 3,540Kg, and both he and the mother are doing very well.
Other good news is that the clinic has now a dehumidifyer, which is helping to get rid of the humidity problems.
We have seen a lot of patients recently, and some children too.
Please pray that we can be a help to all those who come to the Hapu clinic, not only with profesional help, but also spiritualy.
This week we are going to test a bunch of children, from a handicap day center in Tirana. It will be difficult to test them, and have accurate results. We are trying to do the best for them.
Rudina one of the workers of the clinic and Disciples Church pastor’s wife, is expecting her first child.
Pray for her during this days when she is expecting to labor.
Pray that she and the baby will be well.
Hi everybody,
the things are going well with the clinic eccept for one big thing…humidity.
As the clinic is in the basement, half buried on earth, and a poorly done insulation of the building itself, the humidity is very high.
After the june rain, which flooded the chrch and the clinic, with it,now it is too high.
The eqipments are started to act funny, and everything is damp and moldet.
Please pray that we can get a dehumidifyer soon, very soon.
we cannot get them in Albania, so transport from other places is a problem.
Please keep this in your prayers.
We have changes in the clinic for the summer.
Manjola has left us.She is involved with the summer camp for children for 6 weeks in the summer.
Diana and Rudi needed some help, especialy with rudi being heavely pregnant.
Bruna Marini, who has voluntire with the clinic before, and Irini Muca a 5th year medical student, has joined the clinic.
We are very glad that God did answer our prayers on this topic.
The transition from the old place is going well, and more and more people are hearing about clinic.
There are more open discusion about Jesus, as we are in the church building now.
I have been back for a week now but it feels like it has been a month since I have been in Albania. I am over the 9-time-zone jet lag finally, but I very much miss Diana (now my fianceé!).
I have been busy compliling the 1500 pictures I’ve taken during my 6 weeks there and preparing a presentation for the church about my experience. Many thanks to Jerry and Sandy Lugbill of Albanian Bible Institute for letting me save my pictures onto a CD with their computer. That saved me probably 10 hours of time in the Internet café for backing up my pictures.
Stay tuned while I do some updating to this website. I’ll be adding the past issues of the Hapu Clinic Newsletters and also editing the albums in the Picture Gallery.
