Tana acquired an early competency at spinning things with a flick of her thumb. This video shot March 31, 2007 shows she is such an ‘old-hat’ at it that she readily gets into the game of showing her expertise. She figures her toys out very quickly and she has very good fine motor control with finger and thumb (like picking up mini-’O’s.
In the video, she is ’so good’ that she is nonchalant about spinning the ball…doing it without even looking. She lets out an interesting little ‘eeeeee’ that I don’t know if it meant she was bored or just being verbal.
In Mid-March, I was goofing around with Tana and discovered she laughed and giggled when I imitated a sort of chimp-bouncing. Recently for Mother’s Day, she still laughed at this kind of thing even though I didn’t make the chimp noises.
Jay and Diana welcome their new daughter Tana Samira. She weighed in at 7 pounds and 3.5 ounces and was 18.5 inches long. She was actually born Sept 18th, which makes her 3 weeks old now. Both Mom and baby are doing fine and learning how to coordinate all the sleeping and eating.

I’ve submitted code to the plogger forum which is what I’ve used to create the random images below. In case you aren’t using the Squible theme, you should be able to just insert the code where you want your images to display.
I’ve cut the table html coding from theg3nius’s script in order to make the images display properly in my own theme layout.
Even though Diana is here in the USA, the Hapu Hearing Clinic in Albania is still active. The clinic at the Durrës Disciples church still houses the ministry to Albanians with hearing loss. Rudina is the chief clinic administrator and Manjola is the technical assistant.
Check out the pictures at the following link or at the Photos link in the Pages category above. Just about everything you’d want to see will be here–Albania, Airstreams, Teardrop Trailers, Arizona landscapes, Istanbul, Ephesus….and many more.
There of course are a lot of news to tell about my life changing so rapidly.
I started a job with World Vision Albania on June, few days after my fiance Jay left for USA.
I work in the sponsorship departament there dealing with child/sponsor correspondence. Also few months later WVA asked me to be a consultant for making their Christian Commitment Strategy. This was a new field that I havent work on before, but I was deligent and now that I have submited the project and got very good feedback, I am pleased that I accepted the responsibility.
Meanwhile the clinic was run by Manjola, with my supervision. This was the time to see how things will go when I will be gone. Manjola has been up to the task and have managed to do all the work by herself.
We have a lot of visits and are already booked till March.
Rudi is back from Italy, with her baby boy, Daniel. He is adorable, quaiet and attentive. She will go back to the clinic work on February First.
Ilda is our new teenage helper. She is full of energy and ready to help and to learn. She will be a valuable member of the team and we are pleased to have her with us.
On the 6th March 2005, my wedding will be held at Disciples Church in Durres, Albania.
It will be the day to celebrate our union in marriage and the goodness of our Lord.
